Joseph Hellmesberger, Jr.
小约瑟夫·赫尔梅斯伯格（Joseph Hellmesberger jun. , 1855～1907），奥地利小提琴家、作曲家。因与其父同名，故后人在名字前冠“小”字区分。
成年以后的小约瑟夫·赫尔梅斯伯格，作为皇家歌剧院剧作家、音乐指挥和芭蕾音乐指导等，深受当时人们的推崇和爱戴。他曾任维也纳音乐学院院长，是奥地利小提琴家和作曲家弗兰兹·克莱斯勒（Fritz Kreisler）的老师。从1901年至1903年，他作为奥地利指挥家和作曲家古斯塔夫·马勒（Gustav Mahler）的继任者，担任维也纳爱乐乐团常任指挥，是真正代表维也纳的经典音乐家之一。
Josef “Pepi” Hellmesberger, Jr. (9 April 1855 – 26 April 1907) was an Austrian composer, violinist and conductor.
Hellmesberger was son of violinist and conductor Joseph Hellmesberger, Sr. (1828–1893), who was his first teacher. Among his family of notable musicians include: grandfather, Georg, Sr. (1800–1873); uncle, Georg, Jr. (1830–1852); and brother, Ferdinand (1863–1940).
In 1875 Hellmesberger became a member of his father's Hellmesberger Quartet, while in 1887 he became leader. In 1878 Hellmesberger became solo violinist of the Vienna Court Chapel and professor at the Vienna Conservatory. In 1890 he was the first hofkapellmeister at the Vienna Court Opera, and from 1901 to 1903 he was principal conductor of the Vienna Philharmonic.
In 1904 and 1905 he was Kapellmeister at the Stuttgarter Hoftheater
His compositions include 22 operettas, 6 ballets, dance music and lieder.
